investment and the sustainability of business, stress that the industry accommodate women as much as men can as well as
for women equally, and that the industrial challenges almost identical for men
and women, but women need in industry
and manufacturing is to acquire "daring", and when accessing industry, they confine themselves in certain
fields, despite the great diversity in the
industrial field, urging business pioneering to take advantage of new
government moves towards diversifying sources of national income and the trend
of exploiting the Saudi manpower, male and female alike.
This
was in an extended meeting, which was
convened by the Asharqia Chamber represented by the young business council, in the main
headquarters on Wednesday, February 8 th, about Saudi women and opportunities
for participation in the industrial investment, amid the presence of many
businesswomen of the eastern region and other women who are interested and
specialists in the industrial field.
The
meeting which was moderated by the Vicar of the Executive Council of the young
business, Maram Al Jishi, and was titled (participation of Saudi women in the
industry for a sustainable economy), hosted the industrial consultant and
founder and director of Ghorabi Office for the Industrial studies, Saud Muhammed
Ghorabi, who emphasized that what is missing Saudi women to access the field
of industrial investment is "daring " denying the existence of
challenges related to women in terms of the kind of industrial investment, and
industrial challenges almost identical for men and women.
The
meeting involved the chief executive of Tamkeen company and Vicar of the National Committee of the
advisers, Asia Al Sheikh, that presented a presentation of the importance of
the industry in the system of the national economy, especially with the start
of the Kingdom Vision 2030, saying it can not achieve a sustainable development
without the development of the industrial sector and to
expand its base among men and women.
Ghorabi
stressed
that the industrial investment in its entirety is the leading of the investments in the Kingdom, and
he is certain that the savings in banks, especially women's savings can not be obtained
only through industrial investment, pointing that the industrial sector is open
to women as it is open to a man, but what women need
in industry and manufacturing is daring as well as accessing the industrial
field, they confine themselves in certain fields, despite the great diversity
in the industrial field, a reference to the lack of information, wishing the
Saudi investors to access the industrial
field without fear or hesitation,
saying: (industry is an attractive challenge and women capable of that
challenge), stressing the importance of women accessing the industrial field into an investor and not as a female,
and that takes the idea of collective work and the settlement of financial conglomerates,
saying: (collect your money so as not to be forced to take a finance, Let financing for expansion
only).
Ghorabi
said that the Kingdom opened the way for women to work and invest, there is
women sections in the various government agencies, women became able to get the
commercial registration and license and may recruited workers, wondering what
is left to start the search for ideas and then work to implement them?
Ghorabi
explained the stages of the industrial project, saying it passes through four
stages, starting with thinking and planning, stressing this stage the importance of patience as well
as the information and indicators taken from the correct sources and a detailed
comparative work study, then the licensing, followed
by preparing both in terms of project
requirements (land, financing arrangements, government proceedures) and
technical negotiations, technology transferring, and finally the implementation,
which, according to Ghorabi, needs further research and development in line
with the reality of the local market stage, pointing to the need to not
to jump from one stage to another as this has serious consequences that could
harm the project a serious damage.
For
her part, Deputy Chairman of the National Committee of the advisers, Asia Al
Sheikh, offered a presentation of the importance of the industry in the system
of the national economy, especially with the launch of the Kingdom Vision 2030,
saying it is one of the important aspects that drive the development process
forward there can be no development without development the
industrial sector because of its big effect among the other sectors of the
economy is the base of the economy,
pointing that industry is ensuring an increased added value and help to improve
the economic balance of trade and payments and labor work and reduce the
current unemployment rate and job opportunities for future generations.
She
said that industry is an important factor for the development of rural areas
and reduce the emigration to the cities, and they may contribute to the
achievement of reversed migration, as well as its ability to support self sufficiency,
urging business pioneering to take advantage of the new government plans towards
diversifying the sources of national income and exploiting manpower of
Saudi male and female, pointing that these new trends in many fields in
front of the Saudi female investor especially in manufacturing.
